The HRET Data Reporter service is provided to assist in the verification of the accuracy and reliability of the data submitted to the state through the Data Intermediary in accordance with N.J.A.C. 8:31B-2.5.
HRET Data Reporter also provides state-wide benchmarks for quality performance measures including:
- 30-Day All-Cause Readmission Report
The rate of Admission (by admit date) within 30 days of discharge from same hospital
- Adverse Drug Effects Report
The rate of adverse events likely caused by administration of a medication during a hospital stay per 1,000 discharges.
- Sepsis Mortality Report
Severe Sepsis mortality report by DX codes, and DRG codes
- ScanSmart Report
The rate of pediatric patients (0-17 years) that received a CT Scan w/o contrast for a minor head injury prior to ED discharge
- AHRQ Quality Indicators Report (new)
Developed by the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), Quality Indicators (QIs) are standardized, evidence-based measures of health care quality that can be used with readily available hospital inpatient administrative data, to measure and track clinical performance and outcomes.
Access to the Data Reporter service is limited to authorized contacts only, and all access to the data and reports is audited. The information is transmitted using SSL technology making the service HIPAA compliant.
